TRAIN TOURS in 2013/Winter

Winter 2013 In Jan 2013, Feb 2013, March 2013 we will organize a Trans Mongolian winter train tours from Finland to Moscow-Irkutsk-Ulaanbaatar-Beijing. During the tour we will visit Lake Baikal and Mongolian country side in winter conditions. Dates: January 08.-24. 2013 February 05.- 21. 2013 March 04.-20. 2013   If there are people interested in to visit Oimyakon village in Jan 2013 we can organize a tour. Oimyakon is the coldest place in the northern hemisphere. Can be even -70C degrees. If you are interested in to fly to Jakutsk and from there by van to Tommot and Oimyakon, please let us know.

Small group train trip to Russia , Mongolia and China (for your information only): One way by train   Helsinki – Moscow- Novosibirsk – Irkutsk – Ulaanbaatar – Peking and return by air Beijing – Helsinki. Totally 17 days / 16 nights. 15.05.Departure from Helsinki by train at 18.23 to Moscow . All train trips are in a shared double berth cabins. 16.05. Train arrives in Moscow at 08.25. Finnish guided four hours tour in Moscow + lunch. Departure by train N:o 26  at 16.20 from Moscow to Novosibirsk 18.05. At 15.15 transfer from Novosibirsk train staton for English guided tour + dinner. The train n:o 8 departures at 19.35 from Novosibirsk to Irkutsk. 20.05.Transfer from the railway station for the breakfast. After the breakfast transfer to Listvyanka village. Lunch and banya in “Sibirskaya Zaimka”, 47th km of the highway to Lake Baikal, deep in the forest area on the shore of the Angara River. Back to Irkutsk, city sightseeng. Free time. Accommodation in the Victory*** hotel in a shared double room. 21.05. Early morning transfer to the railway station. Train n:o 6 to Ulaanbaatar departs at 05.25. 22.05. Meet at Ulaanbaatar rail station. Transfer for a breakfast to Bishrelt Plaza hotel. After the breakfast continue to Hustay National park. Accommodation in Hustay /ger camp – B/L/D 23.05. In Hustay, trekking with guide /ger camp – B/L/D 24.05. Breakfast, trekking. Lunch afternoon back to Ulaanbaatar to Miami*** hotel. 25.05. Free day. Accommodation in Miami hotel – B 26.05. Transfer to the railway station for train n:o 24 departing at 07.15 from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing. 27.05. Arrival to Beijing is in the afternoon at 14:04 , guidance to the Jingduyuan hotel (about one kilometre). Accommodation in a 3-star Jingduyuan*** hotel. 28.05. Breakfast in a hotel. Full day in English guided tour to the Great Wall and Ming tombs. Lunch. 29.05. Breakfast in a hotel. Full day in English guided tour to the: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the Temple of heaven, Summer Palace. Lunch. 30.05. Breakfast. Free for shopping. 31.05. After breakfast a transfer to the Beijing airport at 07.30. Check.in etc for the flight to Helsinki . During the flight two meals will be served. The flight arrives in Helsinki at 14.20.
